meridian library at Pinnacle

Anticipated opening: 2024

A new Library broke ground on October 19, 2023, at the corner of Lake Hazel & Locust Grove in South Meridian. This new 12,000 sq ft branch is the third project supported in part by a plant facility levy passed in 2019, and is expected to open in late 2024 to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of Meridian Library District!

The Foundation will be sharing more about this new library space in the coming weeks and months, as well as providing opportunities for our community to help fund new books, technology, and other material resources for this new community hub.

We are excited to partner with the Meridian Library staff, Brighton, CM Company, LKV Architects, KM Engineering, the Pinnacle Community in the SO/ME (South Meridian) District, and our generous community as we innovate, modernize, and expand the Meridian Library's service locations!
