The Meridian Library Foundation will collect new disposable diapers, pull-ups, and baby wipes during September at the Meridian Library Cherry location. This drive will coincide with the library's Baby Resource Fair and directly support the Idaho Diaper Bank.

We are collecting new disposable diapers & pull-ups in all sizes, and baby wipes!
Diaper sizes of greatest need: Newborn, size 3, size 5, size 6; and all sizes training pants/pull-ups

Please deliver diaper items in the Idaho Diaper Bank drop-off bins provided at the MLD Cherry Lane location from September 1st - 30th!

All diapers and baby wipes collected will directly support the Idaho Diaper Bank (IDB), which works to meet the basic needs of Idaho children by ensuring every baby in Idaho has access to the diapers and diapering supplies they need to remain clean, dry, happy, and healthy. 

IDB collaborates with community partners throughout the state to mobilize efforts to make a difference in the lives of the 46% of Idaho babies aged three or younger who live in poor or low- ­income families. IDB distributes an average of 80,000 diapers per month (an average of 1,800 babies), and nearly 1 million diapers distributed annually. 

The Meridian Library Foundation seeks to develop quality partnerships in our community to better serve the patrons of the Meridian Library District. The Idaho Diaper Bank already has a network of partner agencies distributing diaper supplies to those with the greatest needs.
We are proud to partner with the Idaho Diaper Bank and the Meridian Library District to bring these basic necessities to our neighbors so that youth in our community can fully participate in all early childhood programs of the library.
