What We're Celebrating
Meridian Library's new Orchard Park location is a 15,000 sqft full-service library dedicated to early literacy, and designed with accessibility in mind. Members of our community met with architects throughout the design process to influence the space to make it more accommodating and accessible for patrons navigating the library in a wheelchair, with visual or hearing impairments, with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Sensory Processing Disorders, or with other physical and developmental disabilities. This new branch reimagines what a modern library is, and has created a space where patrons of all abilities can access a public library.

Lindsey Hunt

Lindsey is a Boise-based independent artist who creates and produces chill wave-dream pop music with her violin and piano. In recent years Lindsey has been adapting her music and performances to accommodate symptoms of Ménière's disease, which causes severe vertigo and hearing loss along with sound and visual sensitivity. She has been modifying her live performance sets to be sensory-friendly, and pursuing sound-safe adaptive methods for both recording and live performances. Lindsey's newest album will be available on all streaming platforms beginning in May 2023; past albums can be found on Spotify, iTunes, and Amazon.

FAQs
What do I wear? Don't be fooled by "gala". We clean up nice, but we're not too fussy. Semi-formal is going to mean something different to every person and may vary depending on physical needs, and that's okay. Dress to the nines, or dress to the fives; either way we're going to have a great time!
Who can attend? This event is intended for guests ages 21+
